It was uncovered in 2008 that Khan's subsequent book, Indus Excursion: An Individual Perspective on Pakistan, had required weighty altering from the distributor. The distributor Jeremy Lewis uncovered in a journal that when he requested that Khan show his composition for distribution, "he gave me a leatherbound notepad or journal containing a couple of jottings and self-portraying scraps. It took me, probably, five minutes to understand them; and that, it before long became clear, was all we needed to go on."
